We are home to the Berwick Branch of the North Northumberland Food Bank. The Food Bank is available to any household who is in desperate need. Mainly made up from a number of volunteers who give up their time to help, our staff also use their time to assist and provide the service.
Help and support can be offered in order to help your situation and we offer advice, guidance and signposting to other organisations that can help. All contact is Private and Confidential.

Donations are always welcome for the Food Bank. We are always on the look out for non perishable food items, adult and children’s toiletries and we also try to keep a stock of cat and dog food as well. We accept donations here at The William Elder Building, but you can also donate at Asda in Tweedmouth, Newcastle Building Society, Morrisons and many churches in the local area.

If you would prefer to make a cash donation then this is also appreciated and all money donated goes towards purchasing any food their is a shortage of and towards the rent of the room. If you would like to donate a sum of money, large or small then please get in touch or pop in and see us.

Although Figures in Aug show a decrease in the number of parcels given out, the number of children who benefited from a parcel has increased. School Holidays have played a major part in this increase and children not receiving Free School Meal entitlement.
