Berwick Community Trust Summer Internship

We have an opportunity for an undergraduate student to join our office as a temporary member of the team for summer 2018. If you are interested in a career within the not-for-profit sector this could provide an excellent opportunity to learn about how a modern charity operates, the challenges the sector faces and how rewarding the work can be.

The successful candidate will contribute to all aspects of the Trust’s operations including contributing to the development of our projects and front-line delivery work with clients.
Hours and duration are flexible, but this is a summer scheme of limited duration. We anticipate that the successful candidate may have other commitments over the summer or be seeking part time employment elsewhere, we will seek to flex around those commitments.

The Community Trust is a small local charity and consequently this internship is voluntary and unpaid but there will be support with travel costs and a lunch allowance.

The role will be mainly office based and day time but there may be some external meetings or events.

If you would like to discuss this opportunity, please call Julien on 01289 330951.
